“We’re gonna do what we always do, but we have a new – to you guys anyway – record that we put out since we have been there last”, enthused Al Barr, lead vocalist for Dropkick Murphy’s ahead of their December appearance at the Good Things festival. “We haven’t been to Australia in five years so we’re excited to play some of the new songs for people down there. We’re all music fans ourselves so we don’t just play the new stuff, we’ll play the older songs as well”.
In the full interview, Al discusses Good Things more from an artists perspective, the early days of the band, the blending of punk and Celtic music that has been the cornerstone of their sound, using music as a powerful tool, new music and more.
Dropkick Murphy’s are playing at GOOD THINGS 2018!
