Divine Martyr announces the independent release of Fidem, a symphonic/power metal album arriving October 1, 2026. Fidem simultaneously marks the band’s first full-length release as well as its first with vocalist Kassandra Chandler.
Musically, the approach with this album was to write from a place of cinematic soundscapes, while lyrically conveying the faith arcs found throughout Scripture. Orchestrally and chorally the album ranges from 30 to 115 tracks per song, and the influences therein incorporate a number of techniques to achieve specific anxiety, tension, or resonance as the mood of each song dictates.
