Dissection Catalogue Remastered On Picture Vinyl

Share This:

The End Records via their The Omega Order are about to re-release the back catalogue for the three studio albums from Swedish black metal masters Dissection.

The Somberlain, Storm of the Light’s Bane and Reinkaos are considered classics of the genre and original vinyl pressings sell for a pretty penny on eBay.

Limited to a 1000 print run, each one is a picture vinyl with a heavy gatefold double sided jacket, and can be purchased separately or as a box set. All three also contain a double sided poster insert.

Dissection formed in 1991 and were plagued with the notoriety that came with being a black metal band from those parts of Europe in the early ’90s. In 1997, lead vocalist Jon Nödtveidt received a ten year jail term for murder, of which he served seven years. The band eventually broke up in 2006 and shortly after Nödtveidt was found dead after committing suicide.

Reinkaos, which came out in 2006, would be their last release and The End Records released two more live recordings after their demise.

The albums can be pre-ordered for their August release date from now at The Omega Order.
