After yet another sold-out weekend of shows with Bon But Not Forgotten, LA’s finest glam rock exports The Midnight Devils are set to do it all again this weekend in Melbourne, but to say thanks for the welcome in advance, the boys are putting on a special headlining gig this Thursday, July 18, at Stay Gold.
With Shotgun Mistress and XCalibre already locked in, TMD are pleased to announce the addition of local heavyweights Desert Kingdom who have stepped in to replace Cicadastone who unfortunately had to withdraw.
Desert Kingdom are a long standing Melbourne stoner metal band coming out of Singing Bird Studios in Frankston with a long list of venues and bands played with. Richard Bardsley (vocals) and Emmett Young (guitar) are original members, while Mick Jones (bass) joined in 2020 and Mark Fellowes (drums) joined this year, bringing a fresh energy and enthusiasm. Known for their explosive live shows they are always remembered by those who attend well after the gig is over. They will be heading into the studio soon to record new material to add to their self titled ep, Desert Kingdom, and single release, Unleash All Hell.
