When old-school Brisbane death metal outfit Crypt announced they would be playing at this Saturday’s Necrosonic Festival at the Mansfield Tavern, the excitement bordered on hysteria.
In limbo for almost ten years, fans were glad to just get one last chance to see the band live, but that got the boys to thinking and their creative juices flowing.
So much so that Crypt have recorded – and now released – a brand new thumper by the name of Chilling Madness. The track was recorded in the last two weeks across Melbourne, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, with artwork by Brenton Wright who did the Excruciating Agony demo artwork. The band decided to make the song to mark this moment in their history and their 30th anniversary – still heavy as hell!
