According to The Age, construction workers have started stripping out the inside of the Palace Theatre in Melbourne, and Melbourne City Council hasn’t made a decision yet on whether the music venue should be heritage protected.
A construction worker at the Bourke Street property told Fairfax Media that the interior was being removed and the site was going to be turned into apartments.
