CLAY J GLADSTONE Drop Single

Share This:

Following on from their most recent offering Home For Halloween, Eora/Sydney-based punk rock group Clay J Gladstone have advanced with their strident new single Hate Club – produced by Shane Edwards (The LibertinesTrophy EyesYou Me At Six).

Hate Club is a blistering two-minute wrecking ball, assailing with the emotional ingredients of angst and vitality. Stimulating melodies lead the charge, soaring above punching guitars and thundering drums, amicably hurling towards a fiery hook soaked in early-2000s reminiscence and raw morality.

Alongside the release is the accompanying music video – filmed, directed and edited by Colin Jeffs (Yours TrulyDiamond Construct). Shot at The Burdekin Hotel, featuring long take sequences and nostalgic aesthetics, the clip depicts the band performing the track in front of an enthusiastic live audience, while the plot centres around the multifarious pursuit of a love interest with a startling twist.
