Chaotic Carnage with THE QUARTERS

Share This:

With the release of latest single and title track from upcoming EP Chaos, Melbourne trio The Quarters are looking to further enhance their growing reputation with an eclectic mixture of their musical influences that manifests itself in the EP due out on January 20.

“We’ve been working on the EP for a while”, bass player Stephanie Jane Suriano said. “It took us about 12 months to get the full record done – which is a six-track EP – and ‘Chaos’ is the single and the title track and the video. It’s probably the most heavy-hitting track on the record and is like a big punch in the face. It’s fast and it’s hard and it’s everything punk and rock and roll should be. It’s relentless and we love it!”

With the term chaos seemingly a dominant feature of The Quarters and their new release, it seems only fitting that I ask Suriano what in particular the chaos is referring to.

“A bit of everything”, she laughed. “It’s kind of a bit of lust and a bit of hatred and finding that fine line in between of just living neutrally which is hard to do (laughs)”.
