BURDENZ are pleased to announce the release of their debut self-titled album, a culmination of songs written over a two year period. The album was recorded and mixed by Martin Phillips (Repairs, Nuggiez, God Bows to Math) at Creative House in Parnell in early 2024, and mastered by Nich Cunningham (Tooms). It contains elements of post-hardcore, Metal and alternative influences. It also features additional guest vocals from Drew McCormack (vocalist for Nuggiez) and Alanna Wolf (vocalist of Hagseed).
The tracks deal with themes concerning social pressures, environments that can be negatively shaped by darker influences, the state of the world and those who have no control over what life they are born into, overcoming different afflictions while struggling to survive in a world in a steep decline.
