Bullet For My Valentine is a band name that every metalhead has come across along their journey exploring music. I personally have grown up having Bullet’ soundtrack milestones in my life and they are easily a major staple of my musical diet. This year marks 20 years since the release of their debut album The Poison and we were lucky enough to welcome their tour in Australia. Making sure they didn’t show up empty handed, BFMV brought along a few friends in While She Sleeps and The Devil Wears Prada, who we were only too happy to welcome back so soon.
As luck would have it, life had other plans for me – typical – and I would have to sit this one out. By all accounts reported back the show was the high standard everyone was hoping for and left a lasting memory for punters to hold onto for years to come. Brisbane weather tried it’s hardest to scare us off with hail, rain and frankly carrying on like an outright pork chop… Although this didn’t stop the fans from showing up in droves to share this special occasion with the band. I’ll be patiently waiting out for the Scream Aim Fire anniversary show where I will be front and centre!
