HEAVY has just finished doing the rounds at Dead Of Winter Festival at the Mansfield Tavern, and one of the bands we caught up with was Lo!
LO! is a ferocious blackened sludge and heavy metal outfit formed in Sydney in 2006. Conceived by guitarist Carl Whitbread, the four-piece has carved a distinct niche in the extreme music scene by seamlessly fusing crushing doom, abrasive hardcore, and sludge metal.
Fronted by vocalist Sam Dillon alongside bassist Adrian Shapiro and drummer Adrian Griffin, the band is globally recognised for their theatrical, chaotic live shows and cinematic music videos. Signed to Pelagic Records, LO!’s acclaimed discography features relentless, riff-heavy studio albums including Look and Behold, Vestigial, and The Gleaners.
