BIGSOUND Festival 2017’s first artist announcement was announced today with over 60 acts.
Bigsound is an annual festival which showcases Australian artists to industry affiliates and is open to the public as an inner-city, three-day festival in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley live music precinct this September 5-8.
Within the scope of heavy music (aka “Real Music”) the list showcases:
Boat Show – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/boat-show
Clown – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/clowns
Endless Heights – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/endless-heights
Horace Bones – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/horace-bones
Introvert – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/introvert-3
Pagan – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/pagan
Pandamic – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/pandamic
Polaris – https://www.bigsound.org.au/artists/polaris
As far as traditional heavy music the scene is vacant… Polaris and Pagan, however, deliver crushing blows… Let’s see what comes out of the next announcement…
The venue of choice for the festival will be, of course, Crowbar.
