Belle Haven translates to mean “a beautiful place of safety”; that’s probably why every show of theirs feels like a gathering of more than just people, but of family. The Melbourne five-piece have spent years connecting with their fanbase in every way possible, starting every show reminding the crowd that they are just as much a part of Belle Haven as the band members themselves. Their 2015 debut album Everything Ablaze took Belle Haven from local stages, to audiences both across the country and around the world, and their follow up single The Carving Knife gave their family a taste of things to come; but now the band is ready to share with you the new era of their ever evolving art form, joining forces with Greyscale Records to announce the release of their new album You, Me, And Everything in Between. slated for release on Friday the 16th of June, pre-orders available here https://greyscale.lnk.to/BelleHaven
“You, Me and Everything in Between. has been a long time coming.” Explains vocalist David Vernon. “There are way too many people in the world who feel used, betrayed and manipulated on a daily basis. I hope this record can resonate with those people and inspire them to come to terms with when it’s right to burn a bridge. I’ve been there so many times and that’s the hardest part; knowing when to leave.”
Yesterday the band released the lead single from their new album “Selfmade”, a track written to bite back at the snakes in the water. “The band has been screwed around by so many ‘professionals’ and ‘friends’ over the past few years and we’ve never really spoken out about it. It’s liberating to feel like we’re finally talking about it to some degree.” Guitarist Chris Vernon says of the single.
The band also announced a national tour alongside fellow Greyscale artist Deadlights, and Adelaide melodic hardcore outfit Ambleside.
