With an assortment of national bands descending on Brisbane next weekend as part of the Moondoll Festival the Gold Coast has been fortunate enough to have a couple of the out-of-towners slot in a show while they are here.
Making their debut Queensland debut this Friday night at Vinnies Dive Bar will be Adelaide hard rock outfit Audio Reign, armed with a new single and a recently repackaged International deluxe version of their debut album.
Audio Reign have built a strong reputation for themselves in Adelaide, supporting overseas bands such as Pop Evil, Skillet and Kip Winger and have vowed to leave nothing behind as they venture into the Sunshine State for the first time.
Joining them will be local punk heroes Monster Fodder, who never fail to entertain with a punk-tinged hard rock sound that would have Lemmy choking on his JD had the legend still been with us today.
Rounding out the line-up are eclectic metal outfit Therein, who pack more musical punch and diversity than Mike Tyson on a domestic airliner.
Proudly brought to you by HEAVY mag, this show promises to be that good, we haven’t even given it a name. Who needs labels when you have loud music?
Bands kick off around 8 pm with a $10 cover charge at Vinnies Dive Bar this Friday, June 3rd.
