Formed in 2019, Ashes of Autumn hit the ground running with the release of their debut EP and quickly earned spots on festival line-ups and high-profile support slots for international touring acts. Over the next couple of years, the band carved out their presence on the Australian rock scene, weathering natural changes in line-up along the way.
A turning point came in early 2023 when drummer and producer Stefan Helbo joined the band. Stefan and vocalist/songwriter Melanie Flynn formed a creative partnership that gave rise to the band’s most ambitious work yet, the upcoming album The Darker Side of Now.
In September 2025, the band released their singles All That You Have and Enemy, two tracks that showcase just how broad their creative spectrum is. All That You Have flows with intimacy and vulnerability, weaving melodic rock with pop-influenced brightness, while Enemy explodes with raw urgency, driven by riffs, rhythm, and soaring vocals that capture the struggle of inner conflict.
With the release of The Darker Side of Now, Ashes Of Autumn steps boldly into its defining era, ready to step onto the international stage with a full video production stage show that resonates as much in the heart as it does through the speakers.
