The band’s debut album creates a noisy formula for punk rock excellence with pounding drums and driving bass guitars that leave just enough room for the squealing rock guitar to crush your soul and leave you thirsty for more.
While the music takes you on a hard rock holiday vocalist Jojo Anderbygd screams rocks and yells her way through these 14 tasty tracks.
The title track off the album of the same name, “Acid Blood”, rocks you out with a cool old school punk feeling. This track leaves you wanting to smash all the furniture in your living room while it’s playing.
“Louder Than Death” is another great song that gets into your body and possesses you to want to destroy all the pool furniture in your neighbours back yard.
“Tombstone” is a short fast-paced track that packs enough punch to see the band be welcomed at any church fete. It’s an absolute pleasure to see that punk rock is still alive and well in Sweden.
If you want your punk rock raw, hot, hard and heavy then this album is the one for you. If you love your parents as I do then you should also get an extra copy just for their Xmas stocking.
Don’t be scared to turn this band up loud. Don’t be scared to play them the way every punk rock band should be, Hard and Heavy. Let this be a warning to your body, turn up the sound cause there’s nothing safe about this album.
