Victorian artist Aaron H. Mifsud has released his new track Through Cold Winds Shadows Remain.
For this song, all of the music was written by Mifsud, and his friend Adrian Boyle wrote and performed the lyrics. The pair have been working together for the past 18 months on music, pulling influences from old school Death Metal, Doom and some Black Metal, plus a few other things.
The song draws from years of listening to Morbid Angel, Nile, Crowbar and Black Sabbath, all while trying to create a dark, heavy mood. Guitar solo-wise, Trey Azagthoth, Uli Jon Roth, Joe Stump and Karl Sanders were all influences.
