Charging out of Omaha Nebraska, the high energy heavy rock four piece band Beast Eagle instantly grab your attention with their opening track Sharp Tongue. A huge melodic banger that will have you nodding your head with ‘Fuck Yeah Approval‘.
Vocalist Kate Lewis’ explosive pipes command respect not since the likes of Izzy Hale and Taylor Momsen. Backed by the powerhouse trio of Austen L’Ecuyer on guitar, August Sievering on percussion and Toby Wandel on bass guitar these guys are the real deal and undeniably RnFnR!!
Following Sharp Tongue are the tracks The Dead Follow, Send me Down, Witch Hunt and The Demonstration which all tie in together to create a theme and a feel that is genuine and unapologetic in its delivery that leave you wanting more.
Not using the term ‘All killer no filler’ lightly, this EP has infectious melodic riffs, powerful rhythm section, well thought out lyrics and all the tasty changes and harmonies that will have you grinning from ear to ear.
Sorceress by Beast Eagle is a must listen and has made a fan out of me and I for one cannot wait for these guys to hit our shores Down Under.
Finally to quote Will Ferrell and John C Reilly from the comedy hit Stepbrothers. ‘You have to call me Dragon, You have to call me NightHawk.’
You definitely have to call these four from Nebraska, Beast Eagle.
