Every day here at the HEAVY Film/TV Offices we get sent news bites that are real (don’t worry no fake news here Mr. Trump) but there’s so much we can’t write an article for reach one so from now on the big news gets its own articles and all the other news that you need will be shared in volumes of HEAVY-SIZED BITES.

Our favourite geeks are guaranteed to be back on the air for another two years after CBS and Warner Bros. Television announced that the show has been commissioned for another two years. The deal has been made despite the fact that Jim Parsons (Sheldon), Johnny Galecki (Leonard) and Kaley Cuoco (Penny) will have their wages cut by 1.25 percent and that Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) and Mayim Bialik (Amy) are still without contracts.

11 years after nearly dying in a high speed car accident on Top Gear television presenter Richard Hammond has been knocked out while filming a segment on a motorbike for his new television The Grand TourWhile it was reported that he was lying on the road in Mozambique it is believed that he didn’t suffer any serious injuries. His co-host Jeremy Clarkson even quipped “we don’t do hospitals” when asked if Hammond was taken to hospital.

Despite the fact the film has caused controversy in some countries because of its overtly gay character and the fact that it hasn’t even opened in countries such as Australia yet Disney’s Beauty And The Beast last night passed the $400 million mark at the box office.

Emma Stone may once again find herself an Oscar nominee after Fox Searchlight last night announced that Stone’s new film Battle Of The Sexes will hit screens during awards season. The film sees Stone play champion tennis player Billie Jean King and centres around King’s match against former champ Bobby Riggs who will be played by Steve Carrell.
