Jesse Hughes Claims Strict Gun Laws Didn’t Save Any Lives at Bataclan Massacre

Share This:

Eagles of Death Metal frontman Jesse Hughes has claimed that if everyone had guns, the Bataclan massacre may never have happened. Three months ago, 90 of his fans were shot dead at a concert, including some of his closest friends.

Hughes is a member of the NRA and a supporter of Donald Trump. I was under the impression that the people that supported Trump were doing it ironically…for a laugh.

Hughes doesn’t believe France’s strict gun laws saved any lives that night according to Sky News, in fact, quite the opposite. “I think the only thing that stopped it was some of the bravest men that I’ve ever seen in my life charging head first into the face of death with their firearms,” he told French TV station iTele.”I know people will disagree with me…but that night guns made them equal.

“And I hate it that it’s that way… Until nobody has guns everybody has to have them.”

These comments come on the eve of the first concert the Eagles of Death Metal will play in Paris since the tragedy.
