Worthless Earth are new to the genre, but not to the scene.
Alice Springs guitarist Josh Bollard (Exdemission/Uncreation) lends his vocals to the drop tuned riffs and lyrics of Kyle Mines (Miazma) to create a fresh sounding duo that is set to make their mark on the Australian music scene.
What started as a solo project for Mines has evolved into the debut album, Buried. The three-year production process was not short of setbacks. The entire project was scrapped, erased and re-recorded multiple times, but that meticulous perfectionism was worth the pain.
Buried is a brutal, inventive and expansive take on the genre with an immediate sense of urgency.
