Melbourne metalcore outfit Windwaker are preparing for their long-awaited HYPERVIOLENCE Australian Tour which hits the road next month. Joining them across Australia is special guests Thousand Below (USA), Diamond Construct and Headwreck.
The tour, presented by Destroy All Lines and Open Door Management, celebrates the release of Windwaker‘s mammoth sophomore album HYPERVIOLENCE, out now via Civilians and Fearless Records. The tour will begin in Brisbane on Thursday, January 30 before travelling through Newcastle, Sydney, Albury, Adelaide, Melbourne and will wrap up in Perth on Saturday, February 8.
Windwaker found their voice tearing at the seams of their sonic boundaries, refining and finessing their craft into something truly unique. HYPERVIOLENCE is the evolution of the group’s fresh and exciting sound, and will be unleashed in its full form on the HYPERVIOLENCE Tour.
“We’re so excited to hit the road and finally bring our new album HYPERVIOLENCE to life on stages all across Australia!” says the band. “This record was made to be experienced live, and we’ve gone all in to make sure we deliver on our biggest and best shows yet. We can’t wait to share the stage with some of our favourite acts, we’ve made sure these are shows that you don’t want to miss.”
