As the Soundwave Festival 2016 circus continues, we see yet another band remove themselves from the line-up.
L7 have announced today that they will not be playing at the Festival, they have said on their Facebook page that “Due to circumstances beyond our control, L7 will not be performing at this years Soundwave Festival. Believe us when we say we are as disappointed as you are”
AJ Maddah is firmly pointing the blame at ticketing agency Eventopia for not releasing funds to pay deposits for bands NOFX and Bring Me The Horizon. He tweeted yesterday that the festival could not go ahead without Eventopia’s support and at one point called their CFO a “scumbag”.
