Newcastle, Australia’s Wayward Kings have signed with Aussie rock label XMusic and released their EP, Another Life Another Time.
Combining elements of Pearl Jam, Metallica, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden with a sprinkling of Dave Matthews, Wayward Songs bring an intense love of heavy rock and rocking songwriting back into the spotlight of the current Australian music scene.
On signing with the burgeoning XMusic label, the band comment: “The Wayward Kings 2023 EP “Another Life Another Time” is out now. We are also extremely pumped to announce our signing to XMusic and what this will bring to the Kings in 2024 “
XMusic founder Tim Mclean Smith adds, “It’s great to have Wayward Kings on the XMusic label. Looking forward to working with the band, hailing from the great rock town of Newcastle, NSW and adding a little rock n rhythm to the mix!”
