Wallapalooza is the Gold Coast’s longest-running independent festival and is back for its 13th year on Saturday, November 4. The event will return to its original home this year, The Wallaby Hotel, which has hosted Wallapalooza for 12 years of the festival’s 13-year history.

Dedicated to live music, the one-day event will see 33 different local and international bands covering a range of genres, take over the Mudgeeraba pub.

Australian prog rock legends, Cog, will be headlining with an epic list of supporting acts including 28 Days, Butterfingers, and touring artist Ladybeard in his newly formed pop/metal band – Babybeard.

The Wallaby Hotel’s venue manager Ryan Wilkinson says the team is excited to see the event return.

“Wallapalooza is a huge day for our community and has become a staple in our entertainment lineup here at The Wallaby. We’re excited to be part of such an amazing day for another year alongside Pineapple Mafia and can’t wait to see everyone come together under our roof.”

Director of Pineapple Mafia, Andy Clark, says this year’s event will be no different to previous years. “We’re excited to work with the team at the Wallaby Hotel again this year and have secured an array of genres stemming from our rock undertones. It’s set to be one of the best days in live entertainment this year.”
