Armed with futuristic ferocity, groundbreaking Melbourne metalcore group Void Of Vision explode with an exhilarating new single and video Blood For Blood, out today via UNFD and announce a Melbourne headline show on Sunday 15 September at The Bergy Bandroom.
Taken from the quartet’s upcoming fourth studio album What I’ll Leave Behind, due out on September 20, Blood For Blood erupts in a scathing and irresistible cacophony of saturated riffs, relentless beats and a rave-ready outro, gripping from start to finish with its intensity and acidic execution.
Joining recent singles Gamma Knife, Empty and Angel of Darkness in the lead-up to the anticipated release of What I’ll Leave Behind, Blood For Blood also veraciously unpacks a strenuous overarching reality for the band, and vocalist Jack Bergin in particular, creating and releasing music against a volatile backdrop.
“I entered a phase viewing music as a literal bloodsport” shares Bergin. “We were losing close friends to suicide, dealing with our own mental health struggles internally, and losing support from those around us all as I was completely off the map dealing with my own health issues.”
