Originally from Florida, Violet began her creative journey in the modelling industry, where she worked for several years. However, her deepest passion has always been music. In January, she made the pivotal decision to move to Los Angeles to fully dedicate herself to pursuing a career in music.
Her sound reflects her eclectic musical influences, blending elements of indie, dark and ambient pop, blues, and alternative genres. With every song, Violet aims to share her story in the hope that it resonates with listeners and helps them feel less alone.
She has just released her latest single But Do I Wanna, which explores the emotional journey of a relationship fraught with complexity. “Initially, my husband encouraged me to find a boyfriend, but when I did and found happiness, he wanted to put an end to it, Violet explains. “The song captures the realization of how I was often pushed to fulfill my husband’s desires while neglecting my own, and the subsequent journey of rediscovering myself and questioning my identity and marriage.“
