With shades of Deep Purple, Zeppelin, and Sabbath yet sheened with a laser-sharp modern production, One Way Love is a hard-rocking, blues-driven track from Ty Freeman with its foot firmly on the throttle. Recorded live at Kempston Street Studios in Liverpool with an all-star UK lineup, the track features Ian Skelly and Paul Duffy of The Coral (on drums and bass respectively), plus exceptional input from producer Chris Taylor (Blossoms, Miles Kane, The Lathums).
A song of high octane emotion and unrequited love, Freeman says of the track: “One Way Love is a gritty, blues-driven track soaked in frustration and heartache, the sound of giving everything to someone who won’t meet you halfway. I was inspired by The Black Keys, early Kings of Leon, Lenny Kravitz – I wanted 70s inspired Rock’n’Roll with a modern edge”.
