Melbourne’s own Transience will headline The Leadbeater Hotel on Friday, August 15, leading an explosive night of progressive rock and metal alongside some of the scene’s most captivating acts.
Formed in 2012, Transience has gained recognition for their electrifying live shows and genre-defying sound. Their self-titled 2013 EP received critical acclaim and led to national tours and festival appearances. In 2015, their debut album Temple was praised as a standout in Australian progressive rock, earning top album rankings and a dedicated following.
Their evolution continued with 2016’s Ocean (produced by Adam ‘Nolly’ Getgood), diving into darker, heavier territory, followed by the emotionally charged 2018 single Words. After a brief hiatus, the band is now working on their long-awaited sophomore album with renowned producers George Lever and Chris Lilac, promising to push their sonic boundaries even further.
Joining Transience on the night will be:
Seas of Titan – a progressive metal act merging ethereal soundscapes with crushing riffs, known for their commanding live performances.
All Is Violent – blending cinematic textures and electronic layers into dark, emotionally driven prog.
Verona Lights – a four-piece delivering powerful, immersive performances filled with emotional depth and energy.
Counting Silence – performing tracks from their acclaimed debut album Ten Birds, combining atmosphere, weight, and meticulous songcraft.
