Time For Some Dead Love

Share This:

Its been a huge couple of months for Sydney grunge larrikins The Dead Love. They released their brand new single ‘Sugarcoat’ to immediate fanfare and played some of their biggest live shows to date. September saw the band rip it up at Snowtunes Festival, sharing the stage with acts like Gang Of Youths, DZ Deathrays and Skeggs. Next was a Wolf & Cub support followed by multiple dates and huge rooms alongside Grinspoon and Hockey Dad while ‘Sugarcoat’ was picking up strong support from the likes of triple j and Spotify.

Some of these live antics have been captured in the new ‘Sugarcoat’ video. In true Dead Love style – the clip was made by the band and features a heavy dose of 90’s DIY vibes from the road and the studio.

The Dead Love aren’t through just yet. In more excitng live news, the band have just announced a new run of dates, their last for 2017. The ‘Sugarcoat’ tour will roll through Melbourne, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sydney and Wollongong through November and December with a mix of headline shows and some nice supports slots (including the legendary You Am I).
