The Herald Sun reports of the plight of Sam Sidlauskas, from St Albans, who really wanted to go to the Helloween gig in Melbourne.
Sidlauskas pleaded with the magistrate to grant him bail to attend the show, as he was granted bail until Monday (14 September) to continue living with his grandmother.
“I have tickets to see Helloween tomorrow night, it’s the first time in 32 years that they’ve ever been to Australia,” Sislauskas pleaded.
“It might be on Monday, I’m not sure, what date is the ticket?
“I will skip it if it means no jail.
“They’ve never been here, but I did get to see Accept so I’m happy.”
Unfortunately for Sidlauskas, he had the date right but the month wrong. The band will be here in October. You can read the full story here.
