Now in its thirtieth year and with kitchen renovations complete, The Zoo is excited to announce Zoopreme Pizzeria will open this Saturday night, January 15, serving up piping hot pies by Italian Chef Luigi De Santo.
To celebrate, The Zoo will throw a Pizza Party on Saturday, featuring Sydney punk powerhouse Totally Unicorn, Brisbane’s favourite punk quintet, Being Jane Lane, and Cooper Reilly (Bad Neighbour). The free event will start at 6:30 pm with pizza and drink specials running till 2:30 am. Punters will be treated to a free slice on entry from 6:30pm-7:30pm (limited to 1 per person).
The Zoo co-owner Luke ‘Boo’ Johnston says, “We’re stoked to be up and running and can’t wait to feed the masses till the wee hours. If you’re in the Valley and fancy a hot pie at 2am to soak up your sins, The Zoo is your spot.”
