NECESSARY EVIL is the 7th studio album of the Budapest based hard rock/garage rock band, The Trousers. Songwriter-frontman Zoltán Kőváry started to write the songs back in the spring of 2024, and the first single Second hand suicide was released in 2025 May. It was called “an instant rock classic” by a Canadian rock-radio, while the second single, Restless in peace tripled the band’s audience on Spotify. The material was finalized in the summer of 2025, and was released in November by Music Fashion Records.
The album is a perfect manifestation of the groups’ unique vision: how to synthesize 60’s groove and 70’s raw heaviness with modern sound, creating something timeless that serves as a soundtrack for a journey in the rock n roll universe.
