One of Australia’s most revered rock bands The Superjesus have today unveiled their much anticipated new single and video, Money (We’re Only In It For Love).
This is the band’s first release after confirming their new line-up, welcoming Murray Sheridan on drums and Cam Blokland on lead guitar.
As McLeod excitedly explains, “We’re gonna play this song so hard on this tour, I can’t wait, I’m gonna scream my eyeballs out!”
Rudd also adds, “Cam and Murray were part of the band when it came time to record a new single… The recording process was incredibly organic. We went to Studio 85 in the Blue Mountains, NSW, which also happens to be Murray’s studio.”
On recording with McLeod, he continues, “Having been together in the same band for over 20 years, the DNA wasn’t hard to find and tapping into new creative veins would soon yield our first new single and now we’re looking at our first new album in 20 years.”
They will hit the road in late January for their national tour with specials guests Dallas Crane, kicking off with two shows in Sydney at the Lansdowne followed by dates in Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast, the Gold Coast and Adelaide, with the tour concluding at the Corner Hotel in Richmond on March 3.
