There’s been talk in the recent days of Soundwave Festival implementing a membership with special Soundwave perks. Tonight, festival organiser AJ Maddah, has revealed a few ideas of what it will involve.
First up, it’ll be called The Soundwave Secret Society. There will be a membership card that will identify you at Soundwave Festival 2016 and various events. That card will be black.
It looks like membership will give you free access to Soundwave Festival 2016, discount merch, discount priority access to the comfort zone and other exclusives. Members also get exclusive pre-sale to not only Sidewaves, SW touring shows, but also invites to listening parties, promo shows, etc.
They’ll also include social events, Christmas parties, after show parties and automatic entry into meet and greet competitions.
Part of being in The Soundwave Secret Society is that once you’re a member, you’ll have to maintain the secrecy of the special events, invites and offers. “Blab and you’re out!”
Once they’ve reached our capacity for members, the only way you can join is if someone doesn’t renew their membership in following years. This is expected to be limited 1,000.
Tickets are expected to be $200 including membership and entry to one Soundwave Festival event. Official details are coming tomorrow, 27 March.
