Revered Australian rock band The Screaming Jets have today announced 2 huge live events that will take them all the way from Tamworth in Northern NSW to Kirriemuir in Scotland!
Led by dynamic frontman Dave Gleeson, The Screaming Jets will kick off 2027 with a return to The Longyard Hotel in Tamworth for a third consecutive year, as part of Tamworth Country Music Festival’s calendar of events. This has become an annual pilgrimage for The Jets – the band’s Tamworth shows were fully sold out in both 2025 and 2026, and fans are encouraged to snap up tickets quickly to avoid disappointment.

Following Tamworth, The Screaming Jets go global! They will pack their bags and head for Scotland to be part of the legendary rock festival, BONFEST. Taking place at the end of April in Kirriemuir, Scotland, the festival celebrates the life of Bon Scott, who was born there. It features live bands and tribute acts and turns the town into a hub for AC/DC fans each year. The Screaming Jets will appear as Special Guest on the night of Friday, April 30, in their inaugural appearance at BONFEST.
