Get ready for an all-out assault of rock as The POOR return home to end 2024 with a bang tonight, December 13. After tearing up stages across Australia and smashing through a killer tour of Japan, our boys are back on the Gold Coast at Mo’s Desert Clubhouse to deliver the ultimate homecoming show.
Backing up The Poor will be the reloaded Derail, a beast of a band with a brand-new line-up. Derail is a collaboration of heavy hitters including Jan Nicholas Blom on vocals (previously of Incyde, Silencio), Kurt Winter smashing the drums (Silencio), Dillenger Escape Brann shredding on guitar (Silencio), Adam Burnell on guitar, and Stewart Williams himself (known from Tower, Black Seed, Lump, Electric Horse). They’re ready to unleash pure, aggressive energy and take no prisoners.
Also on the bill are The Whiskeys, a heavy blues/rock explosion that hits like a freight train. This two-piece local favorite has been setting the Gold Coast ablaze with their gritty, raw performances. Expect nothing less than high-octane riffs and bone-shaking rhythms.
