Produced by Jason Stafford (The Libertines, Babyshambles, Jamie T, Sports Team) at The Libertines’ iconic stomping ground in Margate, The Albion Rooms, London Reign captures a band increasingly assured in the world they are building around themselves. Combining genre-fluid arrangements with observational storytelling, a distinctly British sense of humour and an instinctive balance between grit and irreverence, The Ovines turn their attention to the people, places and stranger edges of London life, painting a vivid portrait of a city populated by outsiders, damaged romantics, restless characters and those searching for somewhere to belong – channelling its chaos, contradictions and idiosyncrasies into a body of work that feels as vividly lived-in as it does immediate.
Since forming in 2017, The Ovines have built a dedicated following on the live circuit, earning them coveted tour support slots with The Buzzcocks, The Libertines and Green Jelly, where they brought their high-energy performance to stages across the UK and Europe. It’s an energy that translates seamlessly into the studio, fervently showcased across their debut EP, Two Bucks and a Bottle of Ketchup, released in 2025.
