The Neptune Power Federation are everything you love about 80’s heavy metal; the leather pants, studded cod pieces, howling vocals, screaming guitar solo’s and killer riffs all rolled into one.
Their debut album, Mano A Satano, is appropriately released on “Hellfire Red Vinyl” and sounds all the better for it; the warmth of the vinyl adding to the flames screaming out from under the needle. Think Zodiac Mindwarp running over Mötley Crüe with Lawnmower Deth.
With steam rolling rhythms and howling vocals amidst some lightning guitar action. Mano O Satano is also a hell of a lot more than just that, it’s a damn strong release, but it is enjoyed mainly for the (Insert as many absolutely necessary and warranted metal review cliché’s here). 10 devil horns out of 10.
