The Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar Back In Business

In welcome good news for bands, artists and music lovers in general, Melbourne’s The Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar has re-opened its books for 2021.

With Victorian restrictions easing for the summer, standing (non-seated) shows are now allowed with a 1 person per 2sqm density quotient.

This allows The Last Chance to host shows with a cap of 45 patrons until further government notice.

Venue hire costs will remain the same, $2 per head from ticket price. FOH engineer provided for a three-act lineup Tuesday-Thursday and Sunday nights. On Friday and Saturday nights the FOH costs are $30 per act for a three-band bill. Any more than 3 acts on any night will cost an additional $50 per act. It is encouraged that bands charge a minimum of $20 entry given the lower capacity.

The venue also has backline available for use at the venue. Drum kit with hardware (BYO snare and cymbals), Fender Rumble 4×10 bass cab and two Marshall guitar cabs (no heads).
