Hard rock juggernaut The Dead Daisies have officially charted a bold course for 2027, ushering in a thrilling new chapter with the addition of legendary former Foreigner frontman Kelly Hansen on lead vocals. Signalling a restart for the band, the rock collective has confirmed the upcoming release of a brand new single alongside extensive global touring plans.
Fronted by exceptional lead vocalist Kelly Hansen, the lineup features stellar guitar work from Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake/Dio) alongside driving rhythm from guitarist David Lowy (MINK/Red Phoenix). Rounding out the powerhouse rhythm section are heavy-hitting drummer Tommy Clufetos (Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne) and dynamic bassist Jimi Crutchley (The Quireboys).
“When I left Foreigner after 20 great years, I told everybody I wasn’t “retiring” just moving on to other things. This project gives me the opportunity to stretch out with some new melodies, a new vibe and fresh energy. We’re gonna rock it!” – Kelly Hansen
With the band in the studio working on new music, Lift Me Up is the first track to materialise as a preview of what lies ahead…
