The Dead Daisies have today released their smashing new single, Join Together, via Spitfire Music/SPV. It’s an uplifting new incarnation of The Who’s song, with modern elements added to the original classic.
Vocalist John Corabi states: “We wanted to do ‘Join Together’ ‘cause it’s obviously a classic Who song. I just love the power of the guitar and bass when it kicks in with the heavy riff on the second verse… always have. The vocals are pretty easy to get the audience involved, and it’s been a crowd favourite when we play it live. We knew the minute we started jamming, it was going to sound great!!! It’s our tip of the hat to a LEGENDARY CLASSIC BAND… You may think of us as “Rockers” but, at the end of the day we’re just huge music FANS… Just like our audience!!!!”
Join Together is the second single to be taken from the rockers’ highly anticipated third album, Make Some Noise, which is due for release on 5 August 2016. It’s the band’s fist-pumping rallying call to the reasonable people of the world to join together despite the division caused by all the recent worldwide atrocities. Check out a live version of the song below from Hamburg.
The Dead Daisies, are set to star on the main stages of UK festivals – Ramblin Man, Rock And Blues and Steelhouse. Then, onto the biggest festivals in Europe, Loud Park – Japan, a KRUISE and tour with KISS and, a ten date co-headline UK tour with The Answer in November and December.
