The Amity Affliction return with their first new music of the year, leaning into their heavier side with the new single Show Me Your God.
“’Show Me Your God’ is the first song of our first self-produced record,” the band said. “The song is the first in a series of explorations and internal meditations on how our past shapes us and interacts with our various mental struggles in the present, drawing from both personal experience and also the trauma of close friends who have passed away or who have dealt with close loved ones passing away.”’
The new single follows a sold-out national headline run in July this year in support of their latest album Everyone Loves You…Once You Leave Them. In 2021, The Amity Affliction released a trio of singles – Like Love, Give Up The Ghost, and Somewhere Beyond The Blue. To close out 2022, the band will perform at Good Things Festival alongside Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, NOFX, Gojira and more.
