Industrial Extreme Metal outfit, The Amenta are calling it a day.
At least from the live circuit. The outfit have been rather vague for their reason to call it quits, a statement issued on their Facebook page on the 2nd of December confirms that they will “retire from playing live for the foreseeable future”.
In a string of last shows for 2014, the band have announced that Melbourne’s HEAVYFEST, January 18, will be their last stop.
And then The Amenta will be gone.
“We will possibly begin work on the next release, possibly not. When we are ready, we will return.”
The Amenta will share the stage with some of the country’s biggest names including international Black Metal pioneers, Rotting Christ from Greece.
