The Alphabetamines is an alternative punk rock band made up of producer, singer and guitarist Adam Edwards, wordsmith and deliverist Natasha Sparkes and the Welsh wizardry of Doz on drums.
Born in the year of madness 2020; Natasha, one lockdown Eve showed Adam a poem, Adam being Adam grabbed his guitar and sang the hook… BOOM …first song made.
A couple of relapses and a lot of song I writing later, they had an album. A twenty song album.
A year and now clean and sober later, they went into the studio and recorded their lockdown baby titled Recovery is the new Rock N Roll.
……..it’s clean, it’s sober, it’s got Doz on drums, it’s fucking needed.
The Alphabetamines have documented the uncomfortable, often unconscious truth of addiction and the road back to normal living; recovery. And bringing it all through an Amp near you!
