When you think of horror-goth metal bands, the last thing you would expect is a Beatles cover. However, Brisbane’s Terror Parade have tackled the classic ‘Dear Prudence’ and put their own spin on it, pushing boundaries and revelling in experimentation.
Picking something like this might seem very much out of left field, but frontwoman Miss Rampage says that The Beatles hold a special place for the band. Covering it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane, even their style of music isn’t directly influenced by the Fab Four.
“We picked this song because we could turn it into something very Terror Parade,” Miss Rampage explains.
“We gravitated towards it because it is written about obsession and solitude. We had a vision of this song taking the listeners through the full spectrum of darkness while keeping it heavy and raw, and we have delivered just that,” she adds.

Terror Parade will also be releasing a film clip in the coming weeks, so listeners gain insight into the exact vision the band had when covering the track. Stay tuned!
