Melbourne-based alternative rock band Terra has released a new music video and cover of LA-based artist Synova‘s The Finer Things Club. This latest release sees Terra steering the original electronic rock track into a catchy alternative rock masterpiece, perfectly blending the band’s sound with their unique interpretation of the song.
The Finer Things Club, originally released as part of Synova’s debut album, Look For The Good In Others, explores the natural evolution of relationships, Synova shares: “The Finer Things Club is about the start of a new era. It’s the moment that you realize things will never be what they once were ever again. While change might be extremely emotional, at some point we can choose to accept it with open arms.” Given the album’s heavy inspiration from a diverse array of alternative rock bands, bringing on Terra to create this cover was a natural fit for Synova, as the band has greatly influenced his music.
Terra’s cover of the song reinforces this narrative by showcasing a fun and lively atmosphere through an Official Music Video featuring the band performing live in a social setting. The video promotes the importance of valuing relationships and reminds viewers not to take themselves too seriously at times, encouraging them to simply let loose and have fun.
