Tensions Arise confirm new guitarist

Sydney’s Tensions Arise has confirmed they’ve stopped the search for a new guitarist. The new face may look familiar to some of you. After a two year absence Gavin Qamar will be returning to the band.

For those who may or may not remember Gavin, he was a huge part of the band for two years from helping the band debut to releasing two EPs, Welcome To Sin City (2010) and Stand In Defiance (2012). He was also a part of the very first International support show for the band playing alongside (hed) P.E and Jeffrey Nothing (Mushroomhead).

Kyle comments: “Having worked with Gavin in the past, we are really excited to continue what we started in our album Stand in Defiance!”

Gavin adds – “I’m glad to be back! Excited to work on new songs and old. It’ll be a pleasure to play with these guys again!”

The band will continue in the studio over the next few months to write and record their debut album, but before they get too locked down, you can catch them at the Agincourt Hotel in Sydney on 25 January as part of the Bloody Oath 2015 Festival.
