The coastal air is about to get a lot heavier. Wilmington, NC ‘s own titans of extremity, Ten Ton Devil, have dropped their new EP, Seasons of Sorrow.
Emerging from the burgeoning North Carolina underground, Ten Ton Devil have crafted a five-track collection that blurs the lines between traditional Deathcore and the guttural, rhythmic devastation of Slamcore. Seasons of Sorrow is a sonic descent into darkness, characterized by neck-snapping tempos, cavernous vocals, and the kind of oppressive atmosphere that has become the band’s signature.
The EP’s centerpiece and focus track, FAFO, serves as the ultimate mission statement for the project. Built on a foundation of relentless Slamcore riffs, the track culminates in a series of bone-shattering breakdowns designed to leave listeners breathless.
