Tarja has chosen this moment in her life to release her first-ever Best Of: Living The Dream.
Today also marks the release of the video for Eye Of The Storm. The brand-new song unites Tarja ́s trademark sound to a powerful, emotional anthem: “It was the right time to finally release this song. It has a very deep feeling of closure in it. It’s been influenced by two very important countries in my life, Finland and Argentina. It’s an internal battle inside of me. Because at that time in life, I was really searching for my place in this world, where I belong as a person, as an individual,” Tarja explains.
The brand-new single Eye Of The Storm was written at the time of her Colours In The Dark album (the third of six rock albums she has released to date), but Tarja chose to save it for this special moment. The song itself is a powerful statement of dedication, perseverance, and discovery. Musically, it is inspired by her love for Finland and Argentina and two emblematic composers from those countries, Jean Sibelius and Astor Piazolla. The lyric video combines stunning visuals and new art created for Tarja’s Best Of: Living the Dream with some of the most striking moments from her previous, instantly recognizable clips.
